Daniel Anthony Loss

Daniel Anthony Loss passed away on September 6, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Nicole (nee Zaremba), his mother Anne, and his sisters Leanora Koehler (Joseph) and Denise Frost (Richard). He had two nieces, Maria and Julianna, and two nephews, James and Adam. He and Nicole shared their home with her parents Karen and Richard. Danny grew up in Bay Shore and was a graduate of Islip High School and Dowling College. He was a long time, dedicated Postal Worker who retired in 2021. He enjoyed watching football and baseball and loved bowling, golf and playing pool. His positive attitude helped him cope with his diagnosis, and he fought Muscular Dystrophy until the very end. We now pray that he finally bowls a 300 game and hits a hole-in-one. Let’s go Broncos! Party Like It’s 1999! The family will receive visitors Friday, September 13th, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 14th, 10:45 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Danny's name to The Muscular Dystrophy Association, www.mda.org.
