Edward Jan Klos

Edward Jan Klos, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born on June 15, 1948, in Goźlin Górny, Poland to the late Zofia (née Fidryk) and Edward Kłos. He moved to the US in 1991 and settled with his family in Shirley, New York, where they lived for over 20 years. Later, Edward and his wife Danuta made Bel Air, Maryland their home in 2021.

Edward was a devoted husband, father, and friend whose kindness and quiet strength touched all who knew him. He had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and often spent his time researching topics of interest or reading books. In retirement, he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, making home improvements, birdwatching, and tending to his beautiful garden; his annual tomato harvest always bringing him great pride. Edward found joy in the outdoors and especially enjoyed his trips to Lake Anna, VA and the Poconos where he loved to fish with his grandsons.

Edward is survived and missed by his loving wife Danuta of 53 years, son Marek, daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Michael, grandsons Thomas and Alexander, and numerous family and friends in Poland and the US. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who were fortunate to know him.

A Memorial Service will be held at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, located at 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, NY, 11735 on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at 12:30 pm at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemeteries located at 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735."
