Catapano, Gaetano, “Tommy”, 91, lifelong Bethpage/Hicksville resident and proprietor for generations of Catapano Bros. Nursery passed away May 24, 2024. Predeceased by his beloved wives, Joan and Laura. Loving father of Carole Ann Catapano, Teri Black (Jeff), Thomas Catapano (Donna) and the late Christopher Michael. Treasured grandfather of Lindsay (Marcello), Jordan (Esly), Breanna and Madison. Cherished great-grandfather of Isabella, Nicolo, Magnolia and Matias. Beloved stepfather of Al Giuliano, Laurie Zucchero (Dennis), Salvatore Giuliano (Gina), P.J. Giuliano, and Kelly Giuliano, step-grandfather of Kevin (Liz), Tiana Molloy (Rob), Allison Maher (Cameron Whittaker), A.J. (Susie), Sean, Salvatore, Bianca, and Victoria, and step-great-grandfather of Luke, Christopher, Lucy, William, Jaxson and Shea. The family will receive visitors Thursday, May 30th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, May 31st, 11:15 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment following at Trinity Cemetery, Amityville.
