Born in 1950 to the late Fred and Ida Dorfmeister, Jacquie was a proud 1968 graduate of Half Hollow Hills High School East. She went on to build a long and fulfilling career with the United States Postal Service, where she worked with dedication until her retirement.
Jacquie was a beloved mother to her son, Eric Lee, who was the greatest joy of her life. She was also a cherished sister to Robert, Kenneth, Cheryl, and Karen, and a dear lifelong friend to Lois Titus. Jacquie and Lois shared an extraordinary bond of friendship that began in high school and carried them through life’s triumphs and sorrows.
She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, loyalty, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
A celebration of Jacquie’s life will be held on Friday, October 10th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, New York, 11735.
