Joan Matarese, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 89 years. Joan was the proud parent of six children and the heart of a large and loving family. She lived a full and loving life, marked by her warmth, kindness, and unmistakable strength, along with a deep thoughtfulness and generous spirit that touched everyone around her. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, April 22nd, 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 23rd, 9:45 am St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale.
