Very sad to hear of Joe's passing.  May he RIP.  Sending prayers for his family and loves.

My relationship with Joe for over 20 plus years has been wonderful. His family and mine at first had a common bond.  Our kids attending the Bethpage schools and little did I know then that his great son and my  wonderful daughter would become husband and wife with 2 precious kids. We are so terribly sorry to hear about the passing of Joe He was a wonderful man. He was kind hearted and always ready to help others. Joe was a excellent teacher & friend . He was a incredible colleague that made POBMS a fantastic place to work ! I recall watching a horse race in Atlantic City . Who was right next to me ? Joe Morello ! RIP Joe your wit & kindness will never be forgotten !

Joe tutored both of my children in Earth Science many years ago and they still have fond memories of him, as do I. I was fortunate  to work with Joe  in the science department and I know I will never meet a more kind, generous person. You will be missed, Joe. My condolences to the Morello family.

I am heartbroken to hear about the passing of Joe Morello. I had the pleasure of working with him at POBMS and know he will be missed by myself and so many students, whose lives he touched in such a positive way. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Joe. He was such a gentleman. We both grew up in Corona and at work we talked a lot about growing up in Corona.  Joe told me he was a crossing guard at PS 14 back in the day.  He was an awesome teacher and friend.  He will be missed tremendously.  Aimee Agostino

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. He and I worked at opposite ends of the school, but when we got together we could talk the day away! He often spoke of his family, and how much he enjoyed spending time with all of them, and how proud he was of his children! Joe was a man's man, and I benefited many times hearing his thoughts on family, sports, and the world in general! This is a very sad day, but as time passes, we will remember Joe and smile!

She suffers from bad anxiety and depression and he truly cared about her and understood what she was going through! He will truly be missed! I'm sorry to the family of Mr. Joe Morello, and his extended family, friends, and colleagues.

When I was at POBMS, I didn't have Joe, but when I had a question or two about something related to science he answered it. When I got to High School I struggled with Earth Science and a teacher reccomended him to me to tutor me. Instantly from the second we started our first session we hit off great. We would talk about Sports whether it was Baseball, Football, Hockey  at the last 10-20 mins of the session. After I took the Earth Science Regents I passed and Mr. Morello heard I passed called me to say Congratulations he heard from a colleague and I thanked him very much. Joe was a kind, well spoken, generous, and he was just an all around great person. Mr. Morello it was an honor to have you as a Tutor and to have you teach me. You will be missed Mr. Morello

I am truly sorry for the Morello family loss.
I worked with Joe  at POBCSD. Although we were in different schools, and we didnt have the opportunity to work together often, Joe was well respected in  the high school and our entire Science Department. Rest In Peace Joseph..

He was such a wonderful teacher!  He cared about his students tremendously and taught them in the most professional way since that was his style.  His input and quality of teaching will surely be missed at POB.  His students were so fortunate to have such an outstanding  teacher who cared so much about them.   He will be missed.   My condolences to his family.
