Marie V. Lindblad

Marie V. Lindblad, 91, of South Farmingdale, passed away January 14, 2023. Beloved wife of 71 years to Martin W. Daughter of the late Mildred and Robert Jackson. Dear sister of the late Carol Ludwig Slattery, Robert Jackson (Charlene), Lorraine Erikson (Tom), and the late Richard Enos (Barbara).Cherished mother of Catherine Geerlings (William), the late Martin R. Lindblad (Mary-Ann), and Raymond Lindblad. Adored Nana of Martin T. Lindblad, Meredith Schwarze (Ryan), and Allison Lindblad. Loving great Nana of Hadley Grace. Fond aunt to one niece and many nephews. Marie was a devout and dedicated parishioner of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Farmingdale. She relished in attending Prime Timers meetings and events with all of her cronies. Her talents for sewing, crocheting, knitting, and quilting were gifted to many. Her smile will be missed by everyone. Our family is forever grateful for the special care given to her by the Maryann Tully Hospice Facility. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, January 17th, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Thursday, January 18th, 10 am. Interment following at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Marie’s name to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Hospice Inn, or Lewy Body Dementia Association.
