Connolly, Richard J. Jr., 74, of Farmingdale passed away June 23, 2024. Beloved husband of 47 years to Phyllis. Loving father of Katie Ellingsworth (Ben) and Liz Aboulafia (Rob). Cherished grandfather of Allison, Ryan, Jack and Connor. Dear brother of Serena Pickman, Rita Tilton, William Connolly and the late Maureen Kane. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Born and raised in Queens Village. Richard was a social butterfly, he loved meeting new people and everyone he met couldn’t help but love his loud, unmissable personality. He loved music, reading and golfing with his friends. Richard was always happiest when he was with his family, whether it was a simple family BBQ, going on a family vacation or going to a concert together. Richard was truly one of a kind and will be forever missed. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, June 26th, 4-8 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale.
