

Noveck, Steve T. born March 7, 1932 in his family home in Chicago passed away June 12, 2025 in his longtime home in Farmingdale. Proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. For 67 years together he and his wife, Betty (nee Macchio)) have shared the ups and downs of raising five children, Stephen, John, Carolyn Barrese (Sal), Ann Winant and Christine Dietz (Bob). His devoted grandchildren are a testament to the love and values he and Betty instilled in their own children. Grandchildren: Stephen, Maddie, Nicole Doyle (Howard), Renae Flammia (Larry), Nev, Diana, Scott and Kristen Barrese, John Winant, Julia Lycke (Andrew) and the family values continue with Steve's great grandchildren, Melanie and Lawrence Flammia. Steve acquired his traits of giving and sharing with others by growing up with seven siblings. Two survive him, Rosemary Miller "Rosee" and Martin Noveck "Sonny". He has been reunited with his parents, Nufre and Dorothy and his five siblings: Olga, Martha, John, Arthur and Donald. Having all those siblings has also given him the privilege of being an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Steve's faith has always been a constant. This can be seen from the sacrifices made so his children had a Catholic School education , and the time, energy and hard work volunteering to make his parish and community a better place. Volunteering for more than 50 years in The Nocturnal Adoration Society, Boy Scouts of America and participating in The Vatican Caterers and many other fundraisers throughout the years for the betterment of his hometown.
Monday, June 16, from 3-8pm visitation will take place at Arthur F. White Funeral Home (315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, NY) A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, 9:45am at St Kilian Church, followed by interment with military honors at St. Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale.
