Galgano, Vincenza F., “Vivian”, 88, of Bethpage passed away November 4, 2024. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Anthony and cherished son, Robert. Loving mother of Anthony (Susan), and Thomas (Kristine). Adored grandmother of Denise (Dennis), Anthony, Nicholas (Megan), Samantha Stewart (Joseph), Kylee Walker, Roger Walker, Thomas, Taylor, Jessilynn, Luke, and Lorenzo. Treasured great-grandmother of Anthony, Joseph, Marissa, Dennis, Audrey, Francesca, and Whitley. Dear sister of Thomas Mandello (Barbara), predeceased by siblings Salvatore, Santa, Jeanette, and Frank. Vivian was strong-willed and fiercely independent. She was a practical shopper and took pride in finding good quality items at the Dollar Store and Goodwill. Vivian enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slots, and any time spent in the sun. Her proudest accomplishment was her family, and they were the epicenter of her world. Vivian loved making her Sunday sauce, her Christmas Eve seven fishes, and making dinner for her family. She was known to make just enough food for everyone to have seconds, thirds, leftovers, and just in case half the block showed up for dinner. Vivian’s family always came first, but her grandchildren always had the golden ticket to her heart. The family will receive visitors Thursday, November 7th, 4-8 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, November 8th, 11 am at Christ the King RC Church, Commack. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Vivian’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; stjude.org.
