Bobby Lee Reed, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley. “Isaiah 40:31……but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Bobby was a retired tractor trailer driver. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Reed, mother, Mae Reed; brothers, Edward Reed and Jim Thompkins; and sisters, Jane Canterbury and Shelby Winters. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Barbara Reed; three children: Robert Reed and wife Crystal, Heather Reed, and Kristy Yarber and husband Christopher; five grandchildren: Savannah, Logan, Matthew, Brooklyn and Ariana; two brothers: William and Ricky Reed; two sisters: Delores Davey and Patricia Reed; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 PM on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Gentry Missionary Baptist Church at Sanger. Entombment will follow at Huse Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Bowers Hospice House or Gentry Missionary Baptist Church.
