Evelyn was a sweet, kind and giving person. I have fond memories of her visiting us in Tennessee when she and Wilson were first married. No memory of the Neff family reunions over the years could ever be complete without seeing her giving of herself, rushing about to bring to the table the many dishes she had lovingly prepared for the family. This precious soul will always be remembered fondly by many.

Evelyn was always such a nice lady, whether I saw her at Ben Franklin’s or when we went to the Church of God in Fayetteville together. I went to school with her daughter Cathy in Fayetteville, and I taught Evelyn’s grandson in Sunday school when he was a little guy. Evelyn was very special to many people in our area.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have know such a sweet soul. Miss Evelyn has welcomed my son and our family into hers with open loving arms. Indeed this world is a better place for such a kind, loving, giving woman. The Matriarch of the family may be gone, but she leaves her family and friends with a special gift of how you love and care for your family. Family was her life. I just wish I'd known her a little longer. You've earned your wings, Miss Evelyn. Prayers for peace, comfort and understanding to her wonderful family and many friends. Fly high and rest in peace knowing you were loved by many.

Evelyn was a nice person. I enjoyed talking to her at Ben Franklin. She certainly was a hard-working woman. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Praying for you, Cathy, and for your family.
