Genevieve was born April 28,1938 in Cowen, Webster county WV to her late mother, Mary Jane Adams.
She was the adored baby of the family and the last surviving sibling of five brothers and three sisters. Also preceded in death her husband of nineteen blessed years, Harvey Skaggs. She is survived by daughters, Lela Alderman of Marmet WV, Lisa Davis of Oak Hill WV., granddaughters, Jamie Clay, Katelyn Davis, Kyla Skaggs; grandsons, Bryant Davis and Joshua Davis; nine great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Monday, February 7th, 12 p.m. and service with Pastor Robert Morey 1 p.m. at Dodd Payne Hess Funeral home in Fayetteville WV; followed by burial at Huse Memorial Park.
