Sadly, I did not know Jeremiah. I grew up with the Riner family and I did know Melissa very well. I was fortunate to meet and become friends with Kelly at Active Fitness. I met her through my cousin Paige Tygrett Borsman who was her sister in law. We took Body Pump class together and it was there that I learned what a wonderful hard working family she was part of. My heart goes out to Kelly and her children and the family of this amazing man I never got to meet. Rest In Peace Jeremiah, we will watch over your family till you meet again someday.

In 2005 Jeremiah came down to Lake Charles, LA to help with recovery cutting trees after Hurricane Rita! What a blessing it was to see him climb and cut with such ease as our area was so damaged! Our prayers go out to his family and to the Pfau family!

We was very sorry to hear about Jeremiah's passing. Although we didn't know him we were neighbors and would like to send our deepest condolences to the Borsman family and would like to let you all know we are very sorry and if there is anything we can do please let us know. I had the privilege of serving with Jeremiah. He was a tremendous Marine. More importantly he was a good man. A decent man. We could not have come from more different backgrounds, me from New York City, and him from West Virginia. Yet we struck up a great working relationship that developed into a bond that would last beyond our time together in Iraq. He is someone I deeply respected. He embodied everything that is great about this country - courageous, hard-working, devoted to his family and friends. I am honored to have known him. I will remember him. Everyone that knew him will. To his family, I offer my deepest condolences for your loss.

I’ve known this young man since he was a baby.. watched him grow under a very watchful eye from his parents.  Jeremiah was brought up to respect, be a hard worker, be honest, loving, and  watch over his siblings.  He would apologize if he thought he had wronged someone in any way. He grew up with a Godly family and he truly loved the Lord. He met a wonderful, beautiful lady that I really think God made them for each other!  She changed Jeremiah’s life!  All for good!  They started a family that was instilled with his same values. Recently, Jeremiah and Kelly cut some wood for me that they finished themselves for my great room. It’s beautiful so I will always have a part of him right here with me.  Did I mention the many talents they both possess!  Jeremiah will be greatly missed!! By many of us!  I rejoice that he is now with Grand Dad and his grandmother that he loved dearly.  Rest for now Jeremiah.. I’m sure Grand Dad will keep you busy. I love you sweetie....

Even in a moment of disagreement....you couldn't help but like and respect Jeremiah. He was who he was to the core. Honest, kind-hearted, loyal, and hardworking.
I've known Jeremiah since we were very young children and the paths of our lives have been at times uniquely intertwined: From playing in the rural fields of West Virginia as kids to working together as adults on logging operations in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. 
While I am immensely heartbroken both personally and for his family, I celebrate his life. Jeremiah was a servant leader. He served his country, his community, and his family and I have faith that.... one day....our paths will cross again. 
My deepest condolances to his family. My prayers are with you. 

A very sad day for a wonderful Son, Husband, and Father.  I went to High School with his Mom and have great respect and admiration for the whole Family.  I got to see him at my Dad's 80th Birthday Celebration and Jeremiah brought the smoker and cooked for it.  I am glad I got to see him and his wife and kids that day.  My deepest condolences.

My memories of Jeremiah are mostly of he & my brother hanging out when we were kids. Jeremiah was always so kind & polite & he had the most adorable shy smile. I didn't see Jeremiah again for several years as I left for college & he for the military. The next time I saw him, he was a man with more confidence & a lot more muscle, but he was as kind & as humble as ever. He had cultivated a beautiful family & life for himself. Jeremiah exemplified all that is good & is right in this world. I will never understand such a devastating loss, but I find solace in knowing that he comes from an extraordinary family with an unshakable faith. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that Jeremiah touched countless lives & will never be forgotten.

Kelly, kids, family,  & friends please know our hearts ache for all of you & we are praying for comfort in this time.  I met Jeremiah 22+ years ago & forever thankful that I did.  At the time we met I was starting to date Brandon, they was best friends & inseparable. Listening to them & their stories was always amusing to say the least.  Jeremiah later that year in '99 stood by Brandon as his Best Man at our wedding. Then a few years later we was able to watch him marry the love of his life as well...Kelly ❤ Life seemed to get busy over the years but Brandon and Jeremiah's friendship no matter how long it had been since they had spoke it was like no time had passed, talking about hunting,  family, logging & reminiscing over their younger years.  Jeremiah was a true friend & will be missed.
