Joan Andrea Miles

Born October 2, 1959 in Dixie, WV, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Donald and Anne Clonch Naylor.

She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Harrison Naylor, her brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Naylor; and brother-in-law, T.J. Ball.

Joan was a 1977 graduate of Fayetteville High School. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and furbabies. She enjoyed going to the beach, doing crafts and projects, watching westerns, and the Andy Griffith Show.

She is survived by her loving children, Tomeka and Daniel Miles of Harrisonburg, VA; her sister, Terri Beth Ball of Fayetteville, WV; nieces, Emily Ball, Toshea Maxwell and Holly McDowell; nephews, Timothy Naylor and Thomas Ball; several great-nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends; along with her beloved furbabies, Sundae, Duvall and Kitty.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Fayetteville First Church of God, 114 Harvey Street, Fayetteville, WV from 2:00P.M – 5:00P.M. Friends and family are encouraged to stop by.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan Miles to the New River Animal Rescue 201 Maple Avenue Oak Hill WV 25901.
