Lori will always be remembered as sweet and kind. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and she was friendly to everyone. My precious memory of her was when we lost my sister, Betty Jane Slayton, Lori called O'dell Funeral Home and told them she would be doing my sister's hair. Lori had always been my sister's hairdresser. I appreciated that so much, but that was the kind person Lori was. She is loved and missed.

I'll always remember that big smile and the way life danced in her eyes. Lori had such a kind soul. Heaven gained a beautiful soul and the world lost such a kind spirit. Praying for the family and asking for comfort in the coming days. She loved unconditionally and made sure you knew she cared about you. I'm here if needed any time day or night. Just remember it's not goodbye but I'll see you on the other side. Much love to Scott Beverly and Johnny. I've known you all almost my entire life. God speed Lori

I met Lori when we made Midget League Cheerleader Team in fifth grade. I was from Beckwith and Lori from Fayetteville. Lori, Bev, Johnny & Scott embraced me with open arms. I had my first sleepover with you guys and became family from that point on. Years passed, we grew up then reconnected in 2013. It was like we never missed a second!!! Lori was always a bright light of positivity and contributed so much to this world. Can't thank you all enough for all the support and encouragement over the years. With great love comes great loss and great grief. Love and prayers to all!

Friendship is made in the heart, silent, unwritten, unbreakable by distance, unchangeable by time. Once a friend, always a friend. I am forever grateful for Lori's friendship and sorry to see her move on so early!!
