Have been friends with Mare Gin for over 50 years. She always had a smile and good word for everyone. I simply can't imagine Fayetteville, W.Va. without her. She was a big influence on the lives of so many people. I will miss her friendship.

Mare Gin and I were friends from first grade in 1941 to present. So happy I was home last September and got to be with her. We girls went out to lunch and I also saw her at her home, where we enjoyed a long conversation. She will surely be missed by me.

Mary Virginia was such a big part of my life growing up. She was more than just a cousin, she was like a second mom and friend. I was never lucky enough to have her as my fourth grade teacher, but believe you me I did get some of her teaching methods bestowed upon me. I will miss her laugh, her stories, the great advice, and her comments on Facebook. She was such a giving person and I am sure that anyone that knew her found that out quickly. Words cannot express my feelings for her, but my heart feels it all. May god bless you and comfort you all! For Mary Virginia, I am so happy you are in heaven with Porter and pain free. ❤

I knew Mary Virginia as a young girl, her oldest sister was my best friend in elementary school! I spent a lot of time playing at her house after school! Mary Virginia always loved animals and I figured she would be a veteranian! Whenever she walked she usually had a dog or two with her! Mary Virginia was well loved by all who knew her! I am sure she will be missed by all of them!

mrs lewis was my fourth grade teacher. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I hate that i didn't get to come and say bye one last time. I'll never forget cutting that grass and shoveling the snow in the winter. May she rest in peace.

Mrs Lewis was my other mother. She was always very kind to me and excited to hear about my latest adventure. She wrote to me often over the years via Facebook and was so thoughtful and encouraging when I was sick. I will treasure her memory in my heart always.
With love to my dear Lewis family- Myra
