Tammy Marie Hardy, Schofield, Hendrick, Meade, 50, of Oak Hill, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Born on February 4, 1968 at Lochgelly, she was the daughter of Dinah Lee Clark Perdue and Larry Vernon Hardy. Tammy was of the apostolic faith and retired from the State of West Virginia Attorney General's Office. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Schofield, sister, Carol Lee Hardy; maternal grandparents, George Leonard Clark and Ida Mae Clark Wood and Wayne Wood; and paternal grandparents, Betty and Vernon Hardy. Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Randi Marie Schofield and Jessie Jamie Schofield; grandchildren, Cayden Schofield, Mackenzie Harrah, and Kaliyah Wroten; parents, Dinah Lee Perdue and husband, Ray; sister, Jennifer Hayter; brothers, Michael Hardy, Jeremiah Perdue, and Jack Thomas; life-long friend, Elaine Goodman; cousin, Tim Richmond; companion, Robert Reynolds; and father, Larry Vernon Hardy and wife, Sheree. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill, with Pastor Greg Swisher officiating. Interment of cremains to follow at a later date in Bays Cemetery, Summerlee, WV. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday at the church. I love you girl! You and I were friends from the day we meet! Put gray hair and worries on our moms and even got in trouble with our parents a few times, through the years life happened but I always held on to those memories of our friendship because it was special!
