I’ll miss my uncle Pete so much. I got my love of old cars from him. I loved that green, sparkly Corvette. I’m so thankful that I got to spend time with him last year. I’m proud of his military service. I’m proud of the way he helped others. Hopefully, he’s with God, his parents and sister. I love you, Pete!

Megan we just wanted to let you know we are thinking about you and offer our deepest sympathy.

Pete and I joined the Army together on 12 September 1966. We went to the reception center at Ft Jackson and were suppose to be on the "buddy plan" so we could go through training together. I failed indicate that on the paper work so Pete stayed at Ft Jackson for basic and I was sent to Ft Gordon GA for basic. I don't think I saw Pete again until he got out of service 3 years later. We both went to Vietnam and served our country but went on different paths.

We will miss him.
