My prayers are with the Jennings family. Mrs. Jennings was my 3rd grade teacher and I remember her fondly. She helped instill in me my love for reading. I have many good memories of my year in her class.

Jackie and Family,
Please know that your mother was a very special person and an excellent teacher, and I admired her devotion to you, Noel, and Elmo. I consider her one of my mentors when teaching across the hall from her at Fayetteville Elementary. As she and I were usually still cleaning and arranging our rooms for the summer long after the other teachers were gone, Wilda once laughed and said to me, "Nancy, when the Lord comes for the second time, we'll be saying, 'Just a little longer, I'm almost done.' " I enjoyed seeing her about town after she retired, but we in later years lost touch, as folks often do when busy with retirement or a career and family. The last time I saw her, she was not well, and I hated that she seemed to have lost her spark. Again, please know that I enjoyed both working with her and having her as a friend. As I will be out of town on both Thursday and Friday, I will unfortunately not get to tell you this in person.

May the Lord be with you, bless you, and keep you in His care, may the Lord
give you peace. Numbers6:24...I remember the many visits to Mrs. Jennings
house and she always had a story for me. She also gave me a wind chime that is on my back porch. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
