Celia Tello Robles

Celia Tello Robles 81 went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning on October 3, 2014 in the comfort of her daughters home in the city of Palmdale, Ca. Celia was surrounded by her family during her passing. Celia was born in Texas and grew up in Mezquital del Oro Zacatecas, Mexico. She then eventually moved to Fillmore, Ca. She leaves behind her husband Francisco Robles, older sister Josefina Tello and nephew Ilario Velarde. As well as her beloved children Rosario Robles, Alicia Hernandez, Guadalupe Manzano, Celia Martinez, Jovita Barragan, Francisco Robles Jr, Sofia Landeros, Efrain Robles, Mario Robles, Armando Robles, Hector Robles and 44 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. Celia was an active member of the Catholic church. She always made sure she attended mass on a regular basis. Celia was a great believer in prayer. She made sure to pray for her whole family a few times a day daily. She carried her prayer books everywhere she went. Celia was a very loving person to anybody that surrounded her. She loved big family gatherings where she loved to cook for her entire family. She always made sure that everyone ate and would not take no for an answer. Her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren made her very happy. She was very independent and was very determined to do what needed to get done. She always made sure her husband was well taken care of and didn't need anything. Celia's beautiful smile, gentle touch, genuine heart, and generous nature will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Skillin-Carroll Chapel 600 Central Ave. Fillmore, CA; Tuesday October 14, 2014 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm with Rosary to be held at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at San Salvador Mission Church 4046 E. Center St. Piru, CA; Wednesday October 15, 2014 at 8:45am. Burial to follow funeral mass at Bardsdale Cemetery.
