Oscar Carrillo of Fillmore passed away peacefully at his home on Friday March 23, 2012 with his family by his side. Oscar was born on Oct. 31, 1929. He was married to the love of his life Virginia for 52 years. He attended Fillmore high School. He was drafted to the Minor league as a pitcher but was unable to attend due to his father’s death. His favorite teams were the Dodgers, Lakers, Rams and UCLA Bruins (he loved his sports) . One of his passions was bowling. He started bowling at the age of 17, in 1996 he was recognized by CSBA Association. He is survived by his sister Sally Espinoza, brothers Victor and Paul Carrillo. Wife Virginia, sons Frank, Felix (Arlene), Tommy (Kim), Alex and six grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He retired from Egg City at the age of 64. He loved to dance, camp, and travel with his wife and numerous friends. He will be deeply missed by his family. Visitation will take place on Tuesday March 27, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Skillin Carroll Chapel with a Rosary being held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Place of burial will be Bardsdale Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Skillin- Carroll Mortuary , 600 N. Central Ave., Fillmore, CA 93015 805-524-0744

My deepest sympathy to Virginia & family.. Oscar was one special man he had been a part of our family for all my 48 years. I can remember him always being around during our family get togethers, holidays, & camping.. oh how camping was a blast having you & Virginia with us. Never a dull moment. :-) I've also enjoyed bowling with you, my dad Wayne & my past step Mom Jalaine & present step mom Phyllis... I will so miss you & I know my dad will miss his very good friend. To my Guru Oscar,
it's been a pleasure and a honor to have known you especially for these past 7 years while bowling. I have known of you bowling at Santa Paula lanes but really got to know you and Virginia and your
familia and I thank you. You also excepted me for who I am no questions asked. I also loved to see you laugh and smile especially when we bowled good!!!
But most of all I got to love you and Virginia as family so with that I say until we meet again keep a spot open for me in the BIG LEAGUE IN THE SKY. Gibby

Virginia, so sorry to hear of Oscar's passing. He was a great guy. Wally and I will always remember the trip to a State Bowling Tournament with Wayne, Phyllis, Jay, Steph and you and Oscar.
