Alice C. Scheer, 89, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on August 18, 2018, at her home, with her daughters by her side. She was born on October 20, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Juan Bautista Coll and Ceil Schwartz. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge, and often tested “Lady Luck” at the slot machines. She will always be remembered for her feisty spirit. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Murray H. “Harvey” Dickstein, married 1945-1992, and Harold “Hy” Scheer, married 1993-2013; and her children, Geri Dickstein in 1980 (age 16) and Scott L. Dickstein in 2017 (age 64). Survivors include her daughters, Jackie A. Jaillet and Caren D. Bedsworth; grandchildren, Gayle (Jim) Miller and Greg (Rhea) King; great-grandchildren, Hunter Miller and Chayton Miller; beloved “kid” brother-in-law, Sam Dickstein, and sister-in-law, Karen Dickstein; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
