Les, a former successful businessman and real estate owner in Valley View, Ohio and long-time resident of Bath, Ohio, lost his battle with cancer on November 5, 2023, at the age of 79 in Palm Coast, Florida.
Les is survived by his loving partner of 41-years Charles Barry Zollars.
Les was born in Hastings, Pennsylvania on August 15, 1944, to Andrew James Madis and Lena (Mitchel) Madis (both deceased). He was preceded in death by his three brothers and sister: Mitchel Madis, Scott Madis, Marlowe Madis, and Carol (Madis) Jansny. He was also the loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Les requested there be no funeral or memorial service and that he be cremated and laid to rest next to his parents in Hastings, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers donations in his honor may be sent to the Cancer Specialists of North Florida, 80 Pinnacles Drive, Palm Coast, Florida 32164.
