

Betty Lou Bond, 88, of Flagler Beach, FL. passed away on November 24, 2018 at her home. She was born on June 19, 1930 in Freeport, New York to the late Mervin Bond and Miriam Player. Betty Lou’s rich and storied life took her many places. She resided in New York, California, Arizona and Florida. During her working years, she was a well-known and respected “Wine Expert” and gave VIP Tours at Kenwood and Valley of the Moon Wineries in Sonoma, California. Betty Lou will be remembered for her loving spirit. She turned every occasion into a celebration. Everyone was attracted to her and loved her “moxy”. She is survived by her children; Marc Edwards and his wife Laura, Bert Edwards and his wife Adele, Dean Edwards, Scott Edwards and his wife Mary, MaryAnn Kirchner, Lelia Hattersley and Grace Holland. She will be fondly remembered by her 16 surviving grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Carol Labbe and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Betty Lou’s life will be held at the Flagler Beachfront Winery, 611 N. Oceanshore Blvd, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136 on Thursday, December 13th, 2018, 5:30-7:00PM with speakers starting at 6:00PM. Another celebration of life service will take place in New York.
