

Blanche Laura Ashlock 88, of Palm Coast, FL. passed away suddenly on August 20, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 10, 1928 in Anne Arundal County, Maryland to the late Francis Marcel English and Anna Margaret Blottenburger. Blanche retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Public Health for the state of Maryland for over 20 years. In 2006 she moved to the Palm Coast area from Ahoskie, NC. She was known for her zest of life and kept herself very active. She was a member of the Memory Makers Quilt Guild, Friends of the Library, Palm Coast VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Post 115 Auxiliary, Moose Lodge Bunnell, Order of the Eastern Star and Palm Coast United Methodist Church. Blanche enjoyed sewing and was an avid Bingo Player. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alisa Rebstock. Survivors include her children, Faith (Gary) Kaskisto of Palm Coast, Harold (Carolyn) Harrison of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Robert (Joyce) Ashlock of Nottingham, MD; grandchildren, Nancy Elliott, Ann Giroux, April Harrison, Ashley Rebstock, Wesley Ashlock, Ryan Ashlock; great-grandchildren, Katherine Giroux, Abigail Giroux, Davis Elliott and Kurt Harrison. Donations in her memory can be made to the Flagler Humane Society. Blanche will be placed to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
