Bridget S. Keiper

Bridget S. Keiper, 92, of Palm Coast passed away on August 11, 2023 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born on October 17, 1930 in Rowes Run, Pennsylvania to the late Samuel and Sophie Lecznar (Powroznak). She was an original coal miner’s daughter.

Bridget was full of life and loved having adventures with her family, traveling, entertaining, dancing with her husband and when a polka came on, you couldn’t keep her in her seat. She also enjoyed playing games, especially BINGO with her good friend and “adopted daughter” Dianne. She also enjoyed “throwing the ball” with her Great Grandchildren and loving on her little Poodle. She was devoted to her faith often times experiencing spiritual encounters including being personally blessed by Pope John Paul II; whom she had the occasion to meet many years earlier prior to him being the Pontiff. Her memberships included, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she was a member of the A.M Guild and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She also volunteered her time with the Deborah Heart & Lung center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. Bridget will always be remembered for her fun-loving spirit and the deep love and dedication to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles H. Keiper in 2013; son-in-law, Wayne Michael Wilson in 2022 and all nine of her siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Richard) Skrzypinski, Daria (George) Obloj and Brigetta Wilson; five grandchildren, Sherri (Randall) Hennessey, Samantha Mallery, Richard (Nikita) Skrzypinski, Harley Skrzypinski and Christopher Obloj, six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Leah, Payden, Hailey, Jonathan and Randall Jr. Her Sister and Brother -in-law Dorothy Gannon and William Keiper and many more loving nieces, nephews.
