Carol Joyce Bettinger 85, of Palm Coast, Florida went home to tend to God’s Garden on February 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January26, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Thomas M. Lemmon and Pauline Florence. She raised her family in Kansas City, Kansas. Carol loved animals of all kinds and being in the garden tending to her beautiful flowers. Her greatest love of all was being a “kid” with her grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Samuel Bettinger in 2007, her son, Dale Harlan Bettinger in 1990. Survivors include her 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Donations in her memory may be made to the National Federation of the Blind, www.nfb.org.
