Charles “Marty” Winters Ormond Beach, FL October 31, 1945-February 20, 2021 Col. Marty Winters (retired) passed away peacefully on February 20, 2021. Marty was born in Washington, D.C .to Harry and Dorothy Winters. He lived a life of service, spending 33 years in the Air Force before enjoying retirement. A loving husband, supportive father, brother, and leader, he believed in viewing life with a wry sense of humor and shared wisdom. An avid golfer, reader and history buff, he has recently developed an affinity for the History Channel, National Geographic, and saving the elephants. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Winters of Ormond Beach, FL; his children, Meredith Patten, Karen Winters, Veronica Ballard (Matt Ballard), and Kameron Winters; his grandchildren, Kathlyn, Samantha, Danielle and Kelly; his great-grandchildren, Isabella and Jace; his youngest brother, Paul Winters; and playful cat, Whiskers. Donations in his memory can be made to Save the Elephants or Wounded Warrior Project. Due to COVID-19 there will not be a service at this time.

Rip Marty Winters!!!My Uncle by marriage. Bruce Winters my husband was his Godson....My last memory with Marty was Thanksgiving dinner hosted in their new home in Ormond beach...Marty and Rosalie, and Paul Winters...and Kameron Winters made the Holiday special...I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for your service and Godspeed!!!❤❤❤
