David Joseph Zimmermann

David was a simple man who lived life on his own terms. He believed in following his own path, doing what brought him peace and happiness, and living without regrets. For over 20 years, David worked alongside his family at Heidi's Brauhaus in Mahopac, New York, creating many wonderful memories that he treasured throughout his life. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures while living in Florida—casting a fishing line into quiet waters, walking along the ocean’s edge, having his children visit with him and riding his E-Bike.

Florida held a special place in David’s heart. He loved living there, watching the motorcycles during Bike Week and enjoying the excitement of the races at Daytona International Speedway. One of his favorite pastimes was visiting his mother in Palm Coast, where they shared countless cherished moments together.

Above all else, family meant everything to David. He loved deeply, and the time he spent with those he loved most brought him his greatest happiness.

David was preceded in death by his beloved father, Rolf Zimmermann.

He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Samantha Zimmermann; his son, Erik Zimmermann; his cherished granddaughter, Bailey Zimmermann; his loving mother, Katharina (Piehler) Zimmermann; his sister, Heidi Zimmermann; his brother, Rolf Zimmermann; his cousin, Emmeram Altmann.

David will be remembered for his quiet strength, his independent spirit, and his unwavering love for his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten
