Donald “Sully” Howard Sullivan, 85 of Palm Coast passed away on February 12, 2019 at the Emory Bennett VA Nursing Home. He was born on April 30, 1933 in New Rochelle, New York. As a young man he joined the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. Upon being honorably discharged after four years of service he became an Electrician and worked in the union in both Connecticut and New York. In 1990 he and his wife, Rose moved to the Palm Coast area. Donald enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Italian American and Irish American Social Clubs, The American Legion Post 115 Flagler and St. Anastasia Catholic Church in St. Augustine where he served as an usher. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Sullivan in 2014 and his daughter, Donna Sullivan, in 2017. Survivors include his daughter, Dawn and her husband John Draskovic; grandchildren, Lysha and John Paul Draskovic; a son, Sean Sullivan, and granddaughters Tina Barefort and Tara Hartig. Also, a sister, Kim Wheaton and her husband Tom Wheaton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
