Enza attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she achieved a Bachelor’s Degree, becoming the first in her family to do so. She has always been a champion for education, encouraging others toward academic achievement, and was proud that all her children obtained college degrees.

It was in Palatka that she met her second husband, Thom Lee, through their involvement at St. Monica Catholic Church. After retirement, they moved to Flagler Beach, where they had many happy years together.
Enza and Thom were very active with St. Mary Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Carmelite Monastery. They traveled to Israel together, as well as many other places internationally and all over the U.S. Enza also harbored a lifelong love of music and sang in the church choir and continued her music education by taking piano lessons and practicing at home.
