Fernando Duarte Pedro

He was born September 19, 1934 in Barroqueira Turqul, Portugal, the son of the late Antonio Pedro and Bernardina Duarte Rebelo.

Fernando loved gardening, carpentry, fishing, loved birds, his dogs, bicycling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He worked as a carpenter his whole life, and was a handyman and could fix anything.

He leaves his Wife – Ana Maria Pedro; Son - Delfim Duarte and spouse Maria Duarte; Daughter – Alda Carreira and spouse Grant Crossman. Grandchildren, Jason Duarte and spouse Roxanne Duarte, Bryan Duarte and spouse Mark Alteri, Kristina Carreira and spouse Tommaso D’Agostino and Kimberly Santos and spouse Greg Santos. Great-Grandchildren, Sam Duarte, Enza D’Agostino and Mateo Santos. He also leaves two sisters, Maria Duarte Pedro and Isabel Duarte Pedro Delgado.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Jose Duarte Rebelo, Avelino Pedro Duarte and Alexandre Duarte Pedro.

Family and friends will be received December 5th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home in Flagler Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated December 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where family and friend will be received one hour prior to Mass.
