Frances Paslowski passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, at the age of 96, surrounded by her family. A woman of remarkable strength, unwavering determination, and boundless spirit, Fran lived her 96 years to the fullest. Born in Montreal, Canada, Frances attended Darcy McGee High School before moving with her family to Queens, New York. It was there that she met and married her husband, Walter Paslowski. Together, they built a beautiful life, eventually settling in New Jersey, where they raised two children. Fran was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter, and her only sibling, her brother Richard.
Fran worked as an Accounting Supervisor for Crown Publishers, and upon retirement, she and Walter moved to Flagler Beach, Florida, where she embraced the next chapter of her life for the last 45 years. An avid golfer and enthusiastic card player, Fran loved any game that gave her the opportunity to show off her competitive side. Her determination, quick wit, and spirited personality made every game a memorable one.
Fran leaves behind her loving children, Joyce Campione (Rocco) and James Paslowski (Elektra); her five cherished grandchildren, Patrick, Alyssa, Ryan, Dana, and Eric; and six beloved great-grandchildren.
A devout Catholic throughout her life, Fran was deeply involved in her parish, Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church. For more than 19 years, she volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, where she lovingly managed the jewelry department as though it were her very own boutique. Affectionately known as "the jewelry lady," Fran took enormous pride in her work, bringing her signature energy, dedication, and attention to detail to everything she did.
Remarkably, she continued volunteering right up until the end of her life, a testament to her independence, work ethic, and refusal to let age define what she could accomplish.
At 96 years young, Fran had not simply lived a long life; she had lived a full one. She loved deeply, laughed often, fought hard, played to win, and gave everything she had to the people she loved.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N Central Ave, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136, on October 30, 2026, at 11:00 am.
