

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Terrence Mitchell, who entered into rest on February 1, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on November 13, 1939, in Jacksonville, Florida. Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Frank was a true Floridian, finding solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, His love for fishing and passion for hunting were well-known among family and friends. An outdoorsman at heart, Frank’s adventures in nature reflected his deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around him.
Above all, Frank was a devoted family man. He found immense joy in spending quality time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Frank is survived by his two sisters; Wanda Canady with husband Fred, Suzanne Zipperer with husband Doug (predeceased) and Hal Waters with wife Janice.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Mitchell, his daughters, Tami Elliott and husband Terry, Kellie LeCouris and husband Victor, and Melissa Thompson and husband Tobby, his sons, Tim Mitchell and wife Tammy, and Todd Gruenemeier and wife Rebecca, his 11 grandchildren, Lindsey Fass daughter of Tami Elliott, Brittany Bullock, Shane LeCouris, and Blake Dickey children of Kellie LeCouris, Brenden Sweeney, and Morgan Tafs children of Melissa Thompson, Amanda Pitts, Tyler Mitchell, and Adriane Henry children of Tim Mitchell, and Chandler Gruenemeier, and Chelsea Vickers children of Todd Gruenemeier, and his 13 great grandchildren. Frank’s influence and love extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of many other relatives and friends who held a special place in his heart.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Frank Terrence Mitchell will take place on February 24, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Memorial Bricks Program at AdventHealth Foundation Hospice Care East Florida at 60 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164. These donations will contribute to placing a lasting memorial brick in Frank’s memory, a fitting tribute to a life well-lived.
