
Mr. Sacca was born June 27, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, a son of Joseph and Ida Capo Sacca.
At the age of 16 his family moved to Long Island, and at 17 he joined the United States Navy. He served aboard the USS Bordelon a Gearing-class destroyer, and the USS Bache a Fletcher-class destroyer. He served four active, and two years in the Navy Reserves. After his discharge from the Navy, he worked for Grumman for 35 years, retiring in 1995 as Plant Manager. After his retirement, he worked as a freelance consultant with Grumman. Mr. Sacca enjoyed playing golf, watching tennis, and enjoyed his daily 4 o’clock Dewers Scotch. On special occasions, he enjoyed drinking Johnny Walker Blue Label Scotch.
He leaves his wife the former Elizabeth A. Leithauser; four daughters, Aida Sacca; Anntoinette (Robert) Santos, Elizabeth (Steven) Levin and Jeannette (Vincent) Lopez. Nine grandchildren, Diana, Bobby, Kayla, Gabriella, Cameron, Nicholas, Gavin, Joshua and Oliva. Five great-grandchildren, Lance, Blake, Carson, Finley, Magnolia. One brother, Michael, and two sisters, Vicky and Michela.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Sacca and daughter-in-law, Diana Sacca.
