Mr. McIntosh was born February 12, 1926 in Green Island, Hanover, Jamaica, West Indies, a son of David & Adina McIntosh (nee Campbell).
He served as a Police Officer in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies and worked as a bus dispatcher for the Metropolitan Transit Authority of New York before he retired. Mr. McIntosh was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and the Retired Transit Association of Palm Coast. He enjoyed watching movies, riding his bike around Palm Coast and exercising.
His beloved wife, Philis McIntosh, predeceased him in 2006. Mr. McIntosh leaves two sons, Richard (Theresa) McIntosh of Brooklyn, NY and Frederick Jr. (Mia) McIntosh of New York City; one daughter, Jacqueline Scarborough of Palm Coast; one sister, Francella Webb of Orlando; two grandchildren, Richard McIntosh and Ava McIntosh, a host of beloved nephews and nieces and friends.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Adam McIntosh; three sisters, Olive Morris, Iris McIntosh and Marie Nelson.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church 5400 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12 noon.
