

Mr. Britton was born July 17, 1941, in Torrington, CT., a son of George and Lillian Kazakawick Britton.
He graduated from Torrington High School in 1960. He then enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Company B, 3rd. Battalion, 64the Armor APO, serving in Germany. Mr. Britton was honorably discharged in 1966. After his discharge, he worked as a header operator for Anchor Fasteners, in Waterbury, CT., retiring in 1988. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Italian American Social Club, Moose Lodge, Palm Coast VFW, and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Britton enjoyed singing karaoke, dancing, pencil drawing, western movies, war movies, WWE raw, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his children, and grandchildren.
His wife, the former Dorothy A. Canton whom he married May 29, 1971, died September 8, 2013.
He leaves his daughter, Kami Jordy of Stafford, VA., his son, Blane (Tina) Britton of Palm Coast; his sister, Joan Britton of St. Augustine; two brothers, Bob Britton of Crescent City, and Tom Britton of Torrington, CT; four grandchildren, Cienna, Garrett, Logan and Wyatt.
Family and friends will be received Monday, from 2-4 & 6-8 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast, where a Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Friends will also be received one hour prior to the Mass.
