Born in Staten Island, New York on November 2, 1936, Harry pursued higher education, earning his Bachelor's Degree from Drew University and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University. He proudly served in the Army reserves after completing basic training.
Harry enjoyed an esteemed career that spanned over three decades at Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he reached the level of Regional Administrator (GS16). In 1979 Harry achieved the honor of promotion to the Senior Executive Service.
Harry loved movies, sports, food and travel. Some of his excursions took him and his family to Europe, Alaska, The Bahamas, The Panama Canal, Egypt and Morocco.
Harry would probably say his greatest achievement was raising his daughter Lynn and son Doug.
In later years, Harry was most fond of playing Bridge and Poker and participating in chair yoga with his friends and neighbors.
Above all else, most striking about Harry was his complete unconditional love for his wife Ricki who passed before him.
Harry is survived by his son and daughter Doug and Lynn.
A memorial gathering celebrating the life of Harry will be held Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136.
