

Henry James Marshall, affectionately known as "Hank", was born on October 13th 1958 in Tampa, Fl. He was the second youngest of seven children born to his parents Zell Marshall Sr. and Mary Marshall, both deceased. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school and went on to attend Florida A&M University. After a year of college, he decided to pivot and enroll in the St. Petersburg firefighter academy. Henry would go on to become a firefighter, EMT and paramedic, and would serve Pinellas county for over 25 years. During his tenure as a first responder, he was awarded both firefighter and EMT of the year. In addition to his excellent service at work, Henry had a strong passion for the game of tennis and youth mentorship. The game served as a means to maintain physical fitness, build networks, socialize, and provide community service through free lessons to novice and youth players.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Shirley Coleman, Vivian McGill and Cynthia Thomas, along with Edwina Padgett (niece), Michael Marshall (nephew). He leaves precious memories with his wife Telisa Marshall and daughters Tineisa Roach (Anthony) and Lindsey Marshall; grandson Kyan Houston; siblings Rosa Marshall, Tenita Moore, Zell Marshall (Shirley); nieces & nephews Ashley, Adrian, Danielle, Vincent (Erica), Lorenzo, Aileen, Michael, John (Julie); and an expanded list of extended family & friends.
A memorial gathering for Henry will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL 32136, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Henry's memory may be made.
