Igor V Seaton

Growing up in Chicago, Igor attended public schools where he developed a love for sports. He played Little League baseball as a child and later, football for Simeon High School. He was especially fond of basketball. His passions extended beyond the athletic field as he enjoyed sharing moments with friends, often celebrating with good food.

Igor began his work career with the Chicago Public schools until he relocated to Florida where he was employed most recently at Walmart for many years. He had a particular fondness for cooking. He especially loved barbecuing, which brought everyone together around the grill.

In addition to his love for sports and cooking, Igor was an avid movie enthusiast and enjoyed entertaining those around him. He always brought laughter and enjoyment to any gathering.

Sadly, Igor’s fun-loving personality and bright light dimmed too soon. He passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 59.

Igor was preceded in death by his mother Grace; survived by his father, Walter James, two sisters, Elizabeth Seaton, Flossie Ross (Marc), and nephew Jordan Ross. Also surviving are two uncles, George Seaton (Marilyn), Edward Seaton (Diane) and an aunt, Ruby Van. In addition, he leaves to mourn him: a stepmother Barbara Seaton and two stepsisters, Michelle Hayes and Melanie King (Marlon), a close group of friends who were like brothers: Herman, Brian, JJ, and Buddy remain to mourn him.

He will be missed by a host of family and friends who will cherish his warm spirit and generous heart. We all loved him.

A visitation for Igor will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL 32136, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
