Inez Duhaney aged 105 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on January 13, 2026 at her home. She was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica on November 19th, 1920. She was raised by her grandmother Charlotte Green until the age of fifteen when her grandmother died and she was taken to Kingston to live with her uncle. After her schooling ended it was not long until Jameson Duhaney laid eyes on her and they were married when she was 18 years of age. Her husband was very careful to take the best care of her until his dying day on October 19th, 2011. She was a sacrificial, loving and caring mother to her three children, Lloyd, Barbara and Vilma and later to her nephew Michael. She was a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ from a young age. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast where she was involved with the Women on Mission program and at the time she became ill in 2001 she was the Prayer Leader. She was also a teacher of the older ladies Sunday School class.
Mrs. Duhaney was a shining example of what a godly woman should be as described in the Bible by the inner beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God. (1 Peter 3 v 4). She is survived by daughters Barbara and Vilma, nephews Delroy, Michael (Judi), Stephen and Terry. Grandchildren Tracy and Robert. She will be greatly missed.
