To Laura, Brian, Danny & Emma,

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing but rest assured he is rejoicing with loved ones in heaven as we speak. I enjoyed his company he was always funny and kind. Being a Red Sox fan we teased each other a bit and that was always great fun. I wish I was closer so I could pay my respects. How fortunate you all were to have him xo

Rest Easy John,
Kelly

John was such a pleasant man. His struggles with illness date back a long way, but whenever one asked, he had a positive answer. I remember him pushing Emma in her carriage and he could not have been prouder. He and Laura were friends of our friends; Ken's and mine, but we thought of them, otherwise, as our friends.

You suffered much dear friend and with extraordinary courage. Rest in Peace, John, and know you left behind a legacy of love. Laura, my heart aches with yours.

To Laura, Brian and Daniel, and the Cappello family, kindly allow me to offer my deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with John for many years at the Ossining Police Department and found him to be a reliable, dedicated and an exceptional police officer, admired and well liked by the men and woman that served with him. John performed his duties effortlessly and his selfless acts were a reflection of who John was as a man, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend too many. John was a credit to his department and his memory and legacy will be remembered by those of us who worked with John and by those who followed in his footsteps. My thoughts and prayers are with you, may you rest in eternal peace, your brother,
Lt. John Quartucio, OPD202 (ret.)
