John and Josephine were a constant presence in my childhood. They were great friends of my grandfather, Jim and grandmother, RoseMarie. John Conklin was the kindest, most generous and sincere men I knew. Even at my most awkward when growing up every time I saw John he would greet me by telling my I was the most beautiful girl in the world, something I have remembered and cherished for 36 years. My condolences to his family. He will always have a special in so many peoples hearts and his memory will live on. Sending love and prayers.
