Dear Helene and Family,
We were fortunate to meet and know John via his loving Helene, our coworker at WPCS for so many years.
He was always by her side, when there was a social gathering through our school, smiling, joking and being a wonderful and amiable addition to any event.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, at this sad time.
Blessings, Kathy & Jerry Mackey

My Uncle John was one of the most genuine people I ever knew. He loved his family and a dry sense of humor for sure.
We spent many summer vacations together as a family in upstate New York at the 1000 Islands, sharing cabins side by side on the St. Lawrence Seaway. One of my favorite memories, happened almost every summer. My Dad and Uncle John would leave very early each morning to go fishing during our week's vacation. Uncle John would always come over and tap on the window of the room I was in, calling "Bob, Bob, are you ready?". Every summer without fail, I'd have to say "Uncle John, next window!". He will be missed by many. The world truly lost a sweet soul.
