John C. Mueller

John Charles Mueller was born July 24, 1925 in Baltimore MD and formally resided in Pittsburgh & Downingtown PA. A WW II Navy Veteran, Mr. Mueller was an honors graduate of Loyola High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Mueller graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with honors in 1947. He also received his MBA with honors from the Stern School of Business at NYU. Mr. Mueller was an active boater in the Main Line Power Squadron in Paoli, PA and was Commander for a year. Mr. Mueller and his late wife were also members of Anchor Boat Club, the Flagler Beach Yacht Club, and the Halifax Yacht Club in Florida. Mr. Mueller was the son of George R. Mueller and Mary Ellen Thiess Mueller of Baltimore. Mr. Mueller retired as Vice President of Finance from the West Pharmaceutical Products Company after 17 years in 1986 and has resided in Florida since 1989. Mr. Mueller was an active duplicate bridge player and a World Master with memberships in these Bridge Clubs: Daytona Metropolitan, the Palm Coast Bridge Club, and the Tomoka Bridge Club In Ormond Beach where he was a past director. Mr. Mueller was active in the parish of Santa Maria Del Mar in Flagler Beach for many years. He was most recently a parishioner at St. Mary’s in Korona. Mr. Mueller was a social member of the Plantation Bay Golf Club. In his younger years, Mr. Mueller enjoyed photography and golf with two holes in one at the Kimberton golf club in Kimberton, PA. Mr. Mueller was preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie Little who died in 2004. Mr. & Mrs. Mueller were married for 55 years. Mr. Mueller is survived by 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Mueller’s children are: Kathryn Anne Frost of Joliet, Illinois; Mary Ellen Mumper of Flagler Beach, FL; James R. Mueller of Mickleton, NJ; and Christopher R. Mueller of Sebastian, FL. A Funeral Mass will held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at11:00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 89 Saint Mary Pl, Bunnell, FL. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 10, 2019 fro, 9:00-10:00AM at Craig-Flagler palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd South, Flagler Beach, FL.
