Joseph Arthur Arsenault Jr.

Joseph Arthur Arsenault Jr, 64, born July 15, 1955 in Hartford, Connecticut, passed away April 21, 2020 in Bunnell, Florida. Joseph was the son of the late Joseph Arthur Arsenault, Sr, and the late Aurore Fournier Arsenault.

Joe is survived by his daughter Cheryl Arsenault, of Torrington, Connecticut, his son Michael (Marisa) Swanson of Roxbury, Connecticut, and son Joseph A. Arsenault III of Bunnell, Florida, 7 grandchildren- Brandon, Patrick, Travis, Evan, Skylar, Haley and Jacob.

He is further survived by his siblings John Arsenault, Susan (John) Dunn, Rita Landry, Michael (Debra) Arsenault and Lynn Humiston and many nieces and nephews. Joe is also survived by his best friend and partner Pamela Swanson.

Joe for many years was a truck driver and eventually owned his own dump truck business in Flagler County. Prior to his death he owned a hardware store in the western part of Bunnell, Florida. He enjoyed going to work every day and seeing all his customer and friends. He also enjoyed going to Connecticut to attend the annual Swanson Softball Tournament every July to see all his family and friends there.

There was never a job too hard and difficult that he couldn’t handle. Joe was the man to call if you needed directions to somewhere or were lost. In fact, you could give him the state and mile marker number and he would know exactly where you were and be able to get you to your destination.

Joe will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him. Services will be postponed until further notice.
