

Julia was born on May 22, 1941, in Parcoy, Peru, to the late Juan Reynaldo Flores Zegarra and Martina Sanchez Gonzalez. She achieved academic excellence, earning a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. As one of only ten women in a predominantly male program, she graduated at the top of her class.
In October 1968, Julia emigrated to the United States and settled in New York City. There, she met the love of her life, Jaime Paulino Pacheco, who had also emigrated from Peru. They married in Newark, New Jersey, on September 22, 1969. Julia worked diligently in the finance departments of various health organizations throughout her career.
After retiring, Julia and Jaime moved to Palm Coast in 2005. Julia cherished her time gardening, traveling, and cooking. She was deeply religious and known for her charitable spirit.
Julia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jaime Paulino Pacheco; her children, Paul Pacheco and Patricia Pacheco; her granddaughter, Chloe Lewis; and her siblings, Leyla Flores, Nelly Urbina, Welshen Flores, and Emmil Flores, as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering for Julia will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM.
