Karen Ann Huggins, 75 of Palm Coast, passed away peacefully, October 30, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Huggins was born June 27, 1944 in Peekskill, New York, a daughter of Lawrence Crookston and Edna (Odell) Crookston.

She was raised in Shrub Oak, New York, and a 1962 graduate of Lakeland High School. Mrs. Huggins moved to Palm Coast in 1987, and was a member of Palm Coast United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for several years. She volunteered her time to help the Flagler Palm Coast High School Band. She enjoyed shopping, yard work, and taking care of her family. Mrs. Huggins was a devoted mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.

She leaves one son, Glenn Olmstead and his wife Jane of Science Hill, KY; three daughters, Kelly Manno, Stephanie Carvalho, and Allison Huggins of Palm Coast, FL. She was the grandmother of Amber, Anthony, Kyle, Jesse, and Christian. Also the great-grandmother of Audrina.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Francis Huggins in 2006. A son in law, David Manno, and three brothers, Stanley Crookston, Norman Crookston, and Lawrence “Richie” Crookston.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach.

Karen was such a Beautiful person inside and out . We spent plenty of Friday nights together volunteering for FPC Marching Band cheering for the Football team and just having fun with our band kids. She will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Karen. Allison know that you and your Family are in my Thoughts and Prayers.
