My heart goes out to y’all through this time. Mrs. Hurst has always been so sweet and I’ll never forget our times at the softball fields. She was such an inspiration. I’ll be praying for the family and for peace and comfort. I’m in Alabama or I would be there. I love y’all.

My most vivid memories of Katherine are our trip to Georgia and our many rides to Daytona for the First Friday Gospel Sings. She was a wonderful person and a great friend. I will remember and miss her always.
